Finding your shoe size, the easy way
Most of our shoes come in EU sizes. Measure your foot once, at home, and you will always know which size to order.

Shoe sizes change from brand to brand and from country to country, which is why so many people end up guessing. The surest way to get it right is to measure your own foot. It takes five minutes, and you only need to do it once.
What you need
A sheet of plain paper, a pen, a ruler or tape measure, and a wall.
How to measure
- Measure in the evening. Feet swell a little through the day, so this is when they are at their largest.
- Wear the kind of socks you would wear with the shoes, or none for sandals and heels.
- Put the paper on the floor against a wall and stand on it with your heel touching the wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe. For many people that is the big toe, but not for everyone.
- Measure from the edge of the paper to your mark, in centimetres.
- Do the same for the other foot and use the longer measurement.
From centimetres to a size
Find your measurement in the size guide on any product page and choose the size that matches. As a rough guide, a foot of about 25.4 cm is an EU 40, and 26.7 cm is an EU 42. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Some shoes fit differently
- Pointed heels and slim loafers can feel tighter, so consider going up half a size if you have wide feet.
- Sneakers made for running often run small.
- Real leather gives a little as you wear it in; synthetic materials do not.
